Happy New Year!
Time to start fresh. Maybe even finish up my to do list.
I'll be doing a lot more work in the studio in the coming months, scoring a film, and some other recording projects.
I'll put up more information in my next updates.

I finished recording a relaxing jazz project with Gordy Johnson(bass), and Phil Hey(drums) last week. It will be titled "corner cafe""relaxing jazz", on the Lifescapes label. Available at target soon.
Jeff Victor composed all of the tunes and produced the sessions at
Brewhouse with Rob running the mix.
I'm still working on the never ending sound design for the Midnight Chronicles feature film as well as the music.
I'm also currently working on a theme for a family oriented video game.
Good stuff.
Also gearing up for the holiday season. Lots of public performances coming up.

I've finished the Midnight Chronicles music for the trailer of the upcoming feature film.
I've been doing several live dates around Minneapolis, having lots of fun.
It's been a great summer so far.

I'm currently focusing my attention on the sound design and musical score for the upcoming feature film,
"The Midnight Chronicles".
It's a medieval fantasy.

I've been recording with Todd Clouser(see links) at Fur Seal again this week,
he's got another batch of great tunes.
Have you checked out our last project, "BAJA", yet?
Good music, not over-produced. Most of the tunes were done in 2-3 takes.
Also working on some music for the indie film, "THE KNUGGLE INCIDENT". A dark comedy.
I did the sound design and music for the film, "The Last", a sci-fi picture by Fantasy Flight studio. It was part of the annual 48 hour film festival. We didn't get any much sleep, but it was really fun. It will be playing June 14th at the Riverview theatre.

The “BAJA”, project with Todd Clouser is finished and available for purchase. It turned out great. We recorded the entire CD in two days at Furseal Studio. Some nice jazz/rock tunes composed by Todd. We did about two takes each and chose the best. Very natural, live, organic feel to all of the tracks.

I'm looking forward to a busy year.

I'm working on an 8 CD set of ambient music with various nature backgrounds for PC Treasures, and doing the score and sound design for the Midnight Chronicles feature film.(see bennyweinbeck.com or

That, and playing some live shows.(check the calendar)
I've also got a few other recording projects in the mix, so the year is starting out with a bang.

We just finished tracking the BAJA project. A quartet CD with Todd Clouser on guitar and his nice writing, with me on piano, Adam Linz on bass, and Greg Schutte on drums. It's sounding good. Stay tuned for updates.
Wow, this month went fast, I can't believe it's thanksgiving already.
I'm thankful for so many things.

I'm working on the feature film," Midnight Chronicles".
I'm also working on a collaboration with Todd Clouser of 4 Letter Man that should be released early this winter.
And, raking leaves and going to soccer games.

Gordy Johnson and myself just finished recording a Duo CD, which will be released on the Compass Lifescapes recording label, and will be available at all Target Stores on July 24th.
It’s a collection of classic standards.

I'm currently working on the music for a documentary film, "Building at a Crossroads".

I'll be in the Bay area the end of this month.

Spring is right around the corner.

The PBS Film Special "Been Rich All My Life" has just been released. I produced the score with Pete Whitman.

Produced a childrens' Christmas singalong CD. Sold at Target during the holidays.

Produced a CD for the rock band "4 Letter Man". It's sounds great, really talented guys.

Finished the music for the computer game, "Wordigo", to be released this winter.

Produced and composed the music for a 6 CD Workout available at Target.

Produced a 5 CD Romantic Music set also available at Target and other stores.

I'm now working on some other production projects, composing and doing some sound design.

I'm available for film scoring and commercial composing work and my music is also available for licensing.

AND FINALLY: YES, I am still performing at Damico Cucina on several weekend nights every month.
